volatility smile

I created this time lapse video of artist Philip Vanderhyden creating his installation of “Volatility Smile 3,” which was built in the Cleveland Fed’s main lobby. His piece was a part of the FRONT International Cleveland Triennial Art Exhibition and consists of 24 monitors that display computer graphics and animations that were inspired by his anxiety about money.
