the vulnerability series 2020

The Vulnerability Series focuses on mental health in the black community, giving five individuals the opportunity to share what it feels like for them to battle a mental illness, how it affects their life, and also their experience seeking help.

Counseling and/or therapy may not be for everyone, but this series aims to encourage everyone to acknowledge their emotions and their battles, take them serious and find healthy ways to cope and feel supported on their journey.

No one is defined by their mental illness and no one should allow it to rule them. It is okay to feel emotions. It is okay to talk about them and it is okay to seek help in whichever way feels most comfortable.
